After getting your Reiki 1 qualification many people want to learn Reiki 2. Typically you wait for a period of one to three months before starting your Reiki 2. This is to give yourself time to heal yourself and practice getting used to the Reiki energy. People choose to do the Reiki 2 training for a variety of reasons. These include: having an unexplained compelling desire, wanting to carry on the Reiki journey, for their spiritual growth, to heal their friends and family who live further away with distance healing, to truly understand the symbols and how to use them and maybe to become a Reiki therapist and start a new career healing the public.
Some people may have had the opportunity to do Reiki on family and friends after learning their Reiki 1. But not everyone can or does. Reiki 1 is more about practising with the Reiki energy and healing yourself.
Usui Reiki 2 Accredited and Approved Training Course
If you are looking to qualify in Reiki 2, you are most likely looking for a teacher, like myself, that has the experience and depth of knowledge to help you. I have taught all the Reiki levels for many years and can trace my training lineage back to Usui, the original founder of Reiki in Japan. I am registered with the UK Reiki Federation at Reiki Master Teacher level. However currently all my Reiki courses are approved and accredited by the IPHM. This is because students come from a variety of backgrounds and have different interests including crystals, Angels, meditation, chakras, auras and spiritual development. Being with the IPHM allows me to answer questions beyond Reiki, that may naturally arise in the breaks or throughout the day.
The Contents of the Usui Reiki Level 2 Training Day
The Usui Reiki 2 training day is a relaxed, informal day with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
On the day we will cover:
- Reiki 1 principles and the practice of Reiki
- Reiki 2 principles
- Reiki 2 attunement
- Reiki 2 symbols and methods of use
- Practice of symbols and healing methods
We will cover the traditional Usui methods as well as non-traditional, such as spirit guides and stack healing.
There will be a selection of meditations throughout the day suitable for everyone. I think people learn better when they are relaxed and enjoying themselves.
The Price For Reiki 2 Training Day
The price for the Reiki 2 training day and qualification is £135 and this includes your approved training, training material, Reiki 2 attunement, certificate and refreshments. You will need to bring your own lunch and pen.
It is £35 non refundable deposit to secure you place and then the remaining £100 balance payable on the training day itself.
Feeling Nervous About Attending
If you are slightly nervous about attending, have a chat with me. I will do my best to help you. I know from personal experience and from family members and clients, sometimes by doing some things slightly different it can make a huge difference to making people feel more at ease and chilled. Here are some of things that have helped students previously:
- Having a seat by an open window
- Having a seat by an exit
- Bringing their own cup
- Bringing their own blanket, cushion or slippers
- Talking about my cleanliness regime such as wiping the door handles
- Seeing the training room before hand – usually over WhatsApp or can do face to face
- Sitting on a chair rather than a sofa so easier to get up
- Going to the garden in the breaks or whenever need to
I want people to feel at home and enjoy the Reiki training workshop. I have been teaching for many years, so please do not feel you are the only student to ever feel this way.
To the see the pride and happiness on completing the Reiki 2 day from students who were nervous about coming, or nearly did not attend, fills my heart with happiness. I know the huge difference it has made to conquer those doubts. It is the success of qualifying and the success of attending.
If you decide after Reiki 2 to heal the public or choose to go onto qualify as a Reiki Master, then you have an understanding and can also help others heal, move forward on their path and achieve their dreams.

The Time and Location of the Reiki 2 Training Event
The Reiki 2 event is being held on Sunday 17th September in my home therapy/training room in Culcheth. Previous students have found it easy to get to as it is 5 to 10 minutes away by car from the M6, M62 and A580 East Lancashire Road. People have come for previous training events I have held from across the North West including Cumbria, Chorley, Manchester, Liverpool, Wigan and Warrington.
