More and more people are wanting to learn Reiki. They may have experienced its healing effects at a well-being event or had a full private Reiki healing treatment and have a desire to learn how to heal themselves. Some simply say they have a compelling need to learn it. Whatever is bringing you to learn Reiki, you will be wanting to learn from an experienced teacher who has the depth of knowledge to help you on your Reiki journey. Probably, preferring a small group size so that it is fun and interactive, but it still has a personal touch. About the Reiki Training Workshop
The Reiki training course is a full day of training. We cover: 
- The history of Reiki and why it is relevant today
- The Reiki attunements
- Healing yourself with Reiki – theory and practice
- Healing others with Reiki – theory and practice
Reiki Level 1 is where you learn to heal yourself and become qualified to heal family and friends. Many people do not own a therapy bed so we learn to heal from a chair. Also, not everyone finds it comfortable, especially if they have back issues or certain types of illness, to lie on a therapy bed for a period of time. We then move on to learn how to heal someone from the bed itself.
Before the day it is best not to learn too much about the subject, but to just to attend with an open mind. There is plenty to learn, however previous students have found it is taught in a fun yet practical way.
Many students are concerned in case they find they cannot do Reiki. Reiki is like art. Picasso once said that every child is an artist. Some people, like art, will find they have a natural flair for Reiki. However, the more you practice the more you grow the Reiki gift so you can increase your Reiki life talent. I actually see energy fields around people (auras) and energy centres (chakras). I normally can see if a student has a hand partially blocked so preventing the Reiki energy from flowing. I can work with the student to help release this.
Reiki Master Teacher
The day is taught by myself. I have been teaching Reiki for a number of years now and have my own private clinic, Culcheth Healing, which has clients from across the North West of England. My Reiki training lineage can be traced back to the original founder of Reiki in Japan, Usui. Mrs Hawayo Takata then took Reiki to Hawaii and trained some Reiki Masters, one of these being her Granddaughter, Phyllis Lei Furumoto. I am from the Grandaughter’s Reiki lineage. Reiki used to be taught mainly orally and through demonstration and practical exercises. It is only in recent years that it has developed with training courses offering supporting written manuals and brochures.
Where the Reiki Training Course is Located
The Reiki training event is held in my therapy/training room in Culcheth. Previous students have traveled from across the North West. It seems to help that Culcheth is only 5 to 10 minutes away by car from the M62, M6 and A580, so making it easier and more practical to get to.
The Price of the Reiki Training Workshop
The price of the training day and qualification is £100. This is £25 deposit and the remaining £75 paid on the day itself. The training payment covers the training, the accompanying written material to take home, your Reiki Level 1 attunements, refreshments and your Reiki Level 1 certificate. You simply need to bring your lunch and a pen for any extra notes you might want to take.
