Many people are discovering Reiki can help with their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. It is a great life skill to have. Reiki can be used to assist in times of stress, anxiety, sadness or depression. I have recently found more women are learning Reiki to help support them during menopause – for menopause relief.
You may be looking to learn Reiki so that you can progress to learn Reiki 2, to become a Reiki therapist. You may be choosing to learn Reiki, as you simply have a compelling soul’s need. Students learn Reiki 1 for a variety of reasons.
What the Reiki 1 Training Day Covers
This training workshop is relaxed, friendly and very informative. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and practice, as it is taught in a small group.
- The history and principles of Reiki
- The Reiki attunements
- Healing yourself with Reiki – theory and practice
- Healing others with Reiki – theory and practice
- You will be taught to heal someone from a therapy bed and also a chair.
There will be a few simple meditations throughout the day helping you to relax. These are suitable for the student with no meditation experience, as well as those who meditate regularly.
The Price of the Recommended Reiki Training Day and Qualification
The price for the training day and Reiki 1 qualification is £115. It is £35 non refundable deposit and with the remaining £80 payable on the day itself. The price includes:
- The Reiki Level 1 training
- Take home accompanying training material
- Reiki 1 attunement
- Your Reiki 1 certificate
- Refreshments
You will need to bring your own lunch and a pen for any additional notes you might want to take.
Where the Training Event is Being Held
The Reiki training workshop is being held on Sunday 30th June in my therapy/training room in Culcheth. The day starts at 10am and we finish at 5pm. Previous students have attended from across the North West of England. They have found it easy to get to, because it is only 5 to 10 minutes from the M6, M62 and East Lancs A580.
Feeling Nervous About Attending
If you are slightly nervous about attending, have a chat with me. I will do my best to help you. Sometimes, small changes can make a huge difference in making students feel at ease.
Here are some of things that have helped students previously:
- Arriving earlier than the other students
- Having a seat by an open window
- Having a seat by an exit
- Bringing their own cup, blanket, cushion or slippers
- Talking about my cleanliness regime such as wiping the door handles, having their own towel
- Seeing the training area before hand – usually live over WhatsApp, though can do face to face
- Sitting on a chair rather than a sofa so easier to get up
- Going out to the garden in the breaks, or simply when they need to

About The Reiki Teacher
I am registered with the UK Reiki Federation. My Reiki training and Reiki qualifications are approved by the IPHM. I have been teaching Reiki for a decade. I teach all the Reiki levels – Reiki 1, Reiki 2 and Reiki Master training courses. I can trace my Reiki training heritage to the original founder, Usui, in Japan, which is often important to clients and students. Some of my students now have their own practices offering Reiki.
My courses and workshops are approved by the IPHM. This gives me more flexibility in my teaching style and allows me to answer questions that might arise outside traditional Usui Reiki.
