If you are looking to heal yourself, friends and family then this Reiki Level 1 training day is ideal. Reiki Level 1 is sometimes called Usui First Degree Reiki, after the Japanese gentleman, Usui ,who discovered it all those many years ago. On the training course you will learn about Reiki, receive four Reiki Level 1 energy attunements and learn the Reiki hand positions to heal yourself and others. Reiki is often described like a muscle; the more often you use it the stronger it seems to become.
Many people feel compelled to learn Reiki for a variety of reasons such as: wanting to feel more in control of their well-being, to help others, to add value to their lives’ or as part of their spiritual journey. I learnt Reiki simply to help my brother who was ill at the time and with no idea that one day I would end up becoming a Reiki Master, having my own healing business or teaching others Reiki. The Reiki Level 1 course I offer is taught by myself. I am a fully qualified and insured Reiki Master and teacher. I can actually trace my training lineage to the original founder of Reiki in Japan. I am trained in the traditional Japanese Reiki called Usui Reiki.
First Degree Reiki Level One Healing Course
This is a one day training course. It starts at 10 am and finishes at 5 pm. It is held in my therapy and training room in Culcheth, Warrington. Previous students have found it easy to get to as it is only 5 to 10 minutes from the M60, M62 and East Lancs Road.
What the Usui Reiki Level 1 Workshop Course Covers:
- Meaning of Reiki
- The Five Principles of Reiki
- Story and history of Reiki
- Different schools of Reiki
- What is a Reiki attunement and what does it feel like. Post attunement information
- The actual Reiki attunement, sometimes called Reiki Initiation, where the Reiki symbols are placed in your energy field or aura
- Using Reiki
- The Three Pillars of Reiki
- Reiki cleansing and breathing techniques
- Hand positions to heal yourself and others. Theory and practice
- Finishing off techniques for yourself and others. Theory and practice
- The benefits, effects and aftercare advice from a Reiki treatment
There are also a couple of simple meditations throughout the day to help people relax. I assume that people have never meditated.
I teach students to heal others using a therapy bed and more practically from a chair. Many students do not own a therapy bed of their own and it can be an expensive outlay, unless your planning to use it professionally. Also, if the person you are healing has back problems or other health issues they may find a therapy bed unsuitable.
At the end of this training day you will be fully qualified to Level 1 – First Degree in the Usui Method of Natural Healing. You will receive a Reiki Level 1 certificate to confirm this.
Price of Learning Usui Reiki Level 1 and Qualification
This is £115 currently. This covers the Reiki Level 1 training, Reiki Level 1 take home accompanying course material, Reiki Level 1 energy attunements and your Reiki Level 1 certificate. You will simply need to bring your own lunch and a pen if you wish to make any extra notes. Refreshments are provided throughout the day. What Time Delay Should There Be Between Learning Reiki 1 and Reiki 2?
After becoming qualified at Reiki Level 1, it is generally recommended that a gap of 1-3 months occurs before you take Reiki 2. This gives you time to work with the energy. The more you use Reiki, the more intense the Reiki energy seems to become. It also gives you time to heal yourself. Reiki 1 should be seen as allowing you to heal yourself, whereas Reiki Level 2 is where you learn the Reiki energy symbols, learn to heal long distance and qualify in healing the general public.
