Usui Reiki Level 1 is sometimes called First Degree Reiki. It is where you learn about Reiki, receive four Level 1 attunements and learn the Reiki hand positions to heal yourself and others. Reiki is often described like a muscle; the more often you use it the stronger it seems to become.
Many people feel compelled to learn Reiki for a variety of reasons such as: wanting to feel more in control of their wellbeing, to help others, to add value to their life’s or as part of their spiritual journey.
Choosing the right teacher is important; as well as finding someone who can teach you when you are available to learn. There are internet courses that may be appealing, but please be aware that insurance companies may not cover a Reiki internet qualification.
The Reiki Level 1 course I offer is taught by myself. I am a fully qualified and insured Reiki Master and teacher. I can actually trace my training lineage to the original founder of Reiki in Japan. I am trained in the traditional Japanese Reiki called Usui Reiki. I also am a trained Energy Healer; so I see auras, chakras and energy blockages, which many students find reassuring, especially during the practical section of the day when they are learning to heal themselves and others.
Reiki Level 1 Training Day
The day covers:
The history and principles of Reiki
The Reiki attunements
Healing yourself with Reiki – theory and practice
Healing others with Reiki – theory and practice
You will be taught to heal from a therapy bed and heal someone from a chair. There will also be a few simple meditations throughout the day to help you relax.
How much is it to qualify in Reiki Level 1?
The price for the training day and Reiki 1 qualification is £100. This includes your training, training material, Reiki 1 attunement, framed certificate and refreshments. You will need to bring your own lunch and a pen.
What Time Delay Should There Be Between Learning Reiki 1 and Reiki 2?
After becoming qualified at Reiki Level 1 it is generally recommended that a gap of 1-3 months occurs before you take Reiki 2. This give you time to work with the energy. The more you use it the more intense it seems to become. It also gives you time to heal yourself. Simply Reiki 1 should be seen as allowing you to heal you whereas Reiki Level 2 is where you learn the Reiki symbols and are qualified to heal the general public and provide distance Reiki healing
If you are already qualified in Reiki Level 1 elsewhere but feel that you need to retrain, refresh your knowledge or feel you lack the confidence in using your Reiki healing ability please give me a call.
After learning Reiki 1
I run Reiki student meet ups on a regular basis. This is for all levels of Reiki student. It is an opportunity to meet up with like-minded people and practice your Reiki. We also normally include a meditation suitable for all. At the moment the suggested contribution to the meetings is £5 each as everyone’s financial position varies.
If you have any questions or would like further information please do not hesitate to call me.
